Psionics is a bit of a tricky subject when it comes to creative freedom. Since it already is a strange collection of abilities in and of itself with little in the way of scientific credibility, psionics is often hard to truly justify. Granted, it is a set of amazing and wonderful abilities, though some of which are a little too powerful for the purposes of this universe. So, just because we want to, we will allow light use of psionics just to say that it was only recently discovered that some people are naturally born with psionics and we shall endeavor to limit psionics to only three categories: Psychokinesis, thermokinesis, and telepathy.
